Me I was a customer service guy for a bank over here in the UK, and hated it. Now I'm working on doing a long distance degree in international studies, then working in equality and diversity, I.E on the side of those who fight against racism and prejudice. Finally a job I can believe in! Woohoo!

Well, I've had several jobs from the time I was in college almost 30 years ago till now. Mostly I've worked in rehab. Now, I'm a computer instructor and evaluator recommend speech and braille input and output devices. I have a Church music job part time, and do freelance music. Probably the oddest job I had was as a braillist before there were embossers. the college didn't have braille duplicating equipment, so I did the copies individually. I understand what the monks went through.

I've done baby sitting and worked in a daycare center when I had good usable vision. Now I am a word processor for a local rehab agency. I type reports from cassette dictation for most departments within the agency. When the receptionist is off, I often fill in for her.

I am a resident Manager at a Retreet & Conference Center for the Blind. We have blind chapters come up for a visit as well as sighted renters. We also have kids camp twice a year and senior camp twice a year. It's so awesome being in the mountains and serving the local blind community.
